Having worked more than 10 years in counseling, David’s specialty is his unique talent in integrating, as appropriate, coaching techniques with his expertise in psychology, such as cognitive behavioral therapy and hypnosis. He describes his approach as “leveraging psychological analysis to understand the past and using coaching techniques to create the future”. He was trained in the Co-active coaching tradition and utilizes different tools including strengthscope. David is a hypnotherapist, Gestalt therapist and Energy psychology therapist.

He has accumulated plenty of experience in applying his skills in different aspects of learning, including adult learning, career development, interpersonal relationship and anxiety management.

Apart from counseling and coaching, David has worked more than 20 years as an English teacher. He used to be a simultaneous interpreter at DCAP（The German Chinese Academy for Psychotherapy）.

He has a Master degree in education and developmental psychology from Beijing Normal University and a B.S. in psychology from Beijing Univeristy.
